Rum Barrel Chips, 4oz

  • Rum barrel chips are infused with rum to reproduce the character of aged beer or wine in rum barrels. Add 2oz of barrel chips to 5 gallons of beer or wine for 5 days after fermentation is complete. If a stronger flavor is desired, allow chips to soak in the beer or wine for an additional 5 days. Unused chips can be stored in an airtight container for future use. Dried chips can be re-infused with a similar liquor by adding 1oz of liquor to 1oz of wood chips for 48 hours. Barrel chips are packaged in nitrogen-purged bags and are ready to use.
